- has improved my basic skills in using Ms. Publisher for different purposes.

- so far, none.

- personal experience to create own brochures, pamphlets, business card etc.

- need more time...rigid and really specific..fussy~

- how to make flyers, business card, envelope etc.

- teach pupils to be creative~~~

- giving out the modules to the students earlier, at beginning of the semester.., starting from the second week of the semester so that we won't rush to complete all the 5 modules and tasks given just before the study week...apart from that, nothing~ i enjoy to be apart of this course...~

Module 4 (Video editing skills)

1. What do you like about this module?

-learned many new softwares regarding to video editing and experienced to edit the videos..

2. What do you not like about this module?

- none.

-practice the skills that I've learned from this module upon completing the tasks given.

Perhaps, none....

-learned on how to convert raw videos to different video formats, extracting pictures from video, joining files etc.

I can edit the videos to stir and settle the class.apart from that,bring the joyness in the classroom....

Module 3 (Audio editing skills)

1. What do you like about this module?

- making sound interesting....

2. What do you not like about this module?

- None...

- music is universal so when dealing with music,i am eager to do that~ i like it..

4.What do you not like about the task given for this module?

- Nothing's wrong with the tasks.

5. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module?

-learned to join 2 songs together, to change the songs' pitch, to increase tempo and to upgrade sound etc...

6. How the skills learned in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?

- change the situation..not always use the nursery rhymes in the class..sometimes urban song can be used to make pupils realize about mother nature..

-I've been introduced to many new softwares.

- exposed with spywares, viruses or malwares when downloading the software

3. What do you like about the task given for this module?

-I got the chance to practice the skills learned from this module by completing the tasks given. I like the idea of having individual work, pair work and group work for the tasks.

-none...

- all..like converting, downloading, web searching etc..

6. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?

- for example web searching, i can search the web that consist a lot of fun to bring in the classroom..activities , games or even songs to be integrated in classroom to heal the boredom...





Module 2 (Photo editing skills)

1. What do you like about this module?

- exposed to many new softwares that can be used for photo editing like photoscape, adobe photoshop...

2. What do you not like about this module?

-...thickness and need to focus because the steps are not really easy..in a simple word..FUSSY~!

3. What do you like about the task given for this module?

- It somehow helped me to practice my newly-acquired skills in photo editing.

4. What do you not like about the task given for this module?

-time consuming...need a lot of time to get the best result..

5. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module?

-learnt ho to combine, adjust the saturation and how to add text into images..~

6. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?

- i can bring the real pictures into the class,,,so i bring the world and universe to be introduced to novices..

blogging helps me to improve my writing skill because i need to reflect and vomit all the input given in the blog. so i gained both my skill and critical thinking...


2) What you don't like about blogging?

...blogging needs time to write..because of time constraint and a lot of sub-work to do, so the blogging time become limited and not many things can be shared because of that obstacles..

3) What have you gained from blogging?

As I mentioned earlier, blogging has improved my critical thinking and also my writing skills.

How?
...when we need to recall back what we had taught then use it to write in good manner, that is the way how the skill and mind have developed...~put my ideas and opinions into words so that readers out there can get the messages of what I tried to tell.that's all...

4) What do you like about this course?

...improve my technology skills...get the opportunity to use all the softwares and scrutinize it in the proper way...through modules given and the tasks..~so, tasks and modules are the great medium to learn the technological skills...hence, i can produce better teaching aids both in non and technology teaching aids..

5) What you do not like about this course?

...modules..if were given in the early of semester, i think it's better because at least we can manage the time earlier...

6) What have you learnt from this course?

...preparing to be 21st century teacher...i am not referring to book only but also can use the branches of technology to extend pupils' achievement and understanding..

7) What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to?

... focus on TEchnology teaching aids..not really involve the non-technology aids..since the course brings "Using and Developing resources for Esl classroom"..but, overall, fantastic.~

8) What have you expected but you do not learn from this course?

....i thought we need to prepare like puppets or more of word and picture cards..~~~but i've learned all about technology~..

week 12(catch-up episode)..ELEcTROnic BOOK..

This week lesson concerned with the making of an e-book as part of the tasks for Module 2. And this was done in pairs. Me and sarah chose "Story Time AgaIn" as the theme for our e-book and it was intended for Year 2 pupils. Before proceeding to the process of creating our e-book, Pn. Foziah showed us some examples and the criteria of how an e-book should be.

So, in brief, an e-book should have:

1) a theme for its storyline.


2) setting (time and place)


3) a plot that shows the conflict, climax and resolution for the storyline


4) characterization (characters in the story)


5) navigational tools to make sure that the slides can work properly

6) clear and colorful pictures to portray the storyline

7) sound effects that come together with the e-book reading....


fuhhh..a lot of thing to think...i should take all maybe into consideration when making our E-bOOK...!.

overview about our e-book... its a digital book that narrates the story of Goldilock...the story line and the characters are still the same with the oldie one..i just inserted the sound.."my VOICE" inside the e-book...hahahahahaha,,,,PERIOD~!

This week class i continued with the tasks for photo editing as to what stated in Module 2. And one of the tasks was to edit a picture that was to be uploaded in Photobucket. And for that, I chose 2 pictures that were joined together....

This was the final end for all the editing parts that I've done. I'm very satisfied with it.

week 10(catch-up episode)

BEGGIN' plus SOrry soRry plus take me OUt Plus 2 Insan~!...BAHAK KEBABOM~!..


This week, i have to submit 3 tasks for Module 3 which were related to audio editing. Task 1,we were asked to do a ringtone for any song chosen, task 2 we were to join 2 songs together and task 3 , we're to edit a song entitled 'Dua Insan Bercinta' by M.Nasir and Siti Nurhaliza. A song sung live by both of them.,...tasty?creepy?talk to my hands~sigh..


Task 1

And for the ringtone task, I chose 'beGgin'' from MAdCon. I used audacity to cut the full-length BEggin'' to its chorus as the ringtone....bEngging...begging ouooYoooo..~!...want to see who is MADCON?




Task 2

For the second task, I chose songs "Sorry sorry" FRom SUPER JUNIOR and "take me Out" by franz ferdinand to be joined together. And for that, I used audacity to join the two songs.

Task 3

As for 'Dua Insan Bercinta', I used audacity again to cut out the introduction of the song, the clapping sound and to reduce the noise in the song as it's a song sung live in a concert.




......I showed all the 3 tasks to Pn. Foziah for her to first check on the quality of the works that I've done before submitting the final versions. Yes, there're few changes that I've to do to make the final versions of the 3 tasks be better ones..so, stay tunes to get all the 3 audios..~!

week 9( catch-up episode)

adobe photoshop in the house..yabba yabba~!!!!....this week..got new module..module 2...photo editing~!!!!!waw..thick.. fainting..........DUSH!!!!!

cut a crap~!basically this module's all about photo editing. Guess all the skills for photo editing are there in this module since it's thicker from the other 2 modules we got so far. Correcting color cast, blending 2 images together,adjusting saturation just to name a few.

huhuhuhuh~~~just play with the software~
